Since writing about my addiction to my phone and taking steps to wean myself off of the enormous amount of time dedicated to the screen, I am already
down 48% from my screen use of last week.
I feel better. I am thinking clearer and I am more engaged with my family, work and music.
I do feel the urge to jump on the phone but since I took off of the apps that were draining my time, that urge cannot be fulfilled. I am thinking that the urge is going to disappear eventually.
I hope this encourages you in how intentional you are in using your phone as a tool for connecting with people and not something that is hacking your brain.
