When I am in the regular routine of a week, I wake up early and make coffee - the nectar of life.
Then, I head down into the basement for prayer and meditation. I journal and think about the day before and the day ahead. For me, this entire process is about 45 minutes.
I then head to the piano to practice. I warm up and jump right in to a piece or two. I practice with headphones on so as not to wake the sleeping folks in our home.
I then will workout. While working out I will listen to music or a podcast.
This process helps me set the day right. I find that I am more productive if this is the path that I start on early in the morning. What are some of your morning routines?
